Cesare Prandelli: Do not Hope to Andrea Pirlo

Juventus goal - Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo to control the tempo of the game often both at club and national team Italy. Pirlo's presence proved to be capable of lifting a team game, as seen at Juventus last season and Gli Azzurri at Euro 2012.

Unfortunately, Pirlo is not got much room to move in two 2014 World Cup qualifiers versus Bulgaia and Malta. As a result, La Nazionale only able to reach a point counter Bulgaria, and the difficulty of penetrating the line behind Malta finally pack the perfect point though.

Cesare Prandelli insists his side can not constantly rely on the figure of Pirlo.

"Malta managed to push Pirlo. They defend with nine players and put one person to keep Pirlo throughout the game," commentator Prandello after the game.

"We had to do what was done in euros. If Pirlo is not given liberty, we need to use other players like Thiago Motta or Riccardo Montolivo."

In addition to problems of Pirlo, Prandelli also examine the use of trequartista formation. In the first half, taking a Gli Azzurri midfielder placed behind the two strikers that should provide a lot of opportunities. Unfortunately, Alessandro Diamanti failed to maximize its job.

"We played better in the second half with two wide attackers, and the difficulty in the first round with a trequartista."

"We must mengasalisa this situation so do not make the same mistakes if opposing teams rely Yanga last game," Prandelli end.
